When Jeni Maus, owner of vintage rental company Found in Orange County, found out her good friend and co-worker Allison Howell was expecting, there was no question who was planning her shower, but Allison couldn't have expected how insanely awesome the event would turn out. "My favorite foods, people, superfun decor . . . ," Allison says. "I mean, she searched my Pinterest nursery idea boards and created a whole wall inspired by a print I had picked for my baby's art gallery!"

That wall was just one of many standout decor items, which also included an amazing DIY yarn chandelier, cool colorblocked invites from Pitbulls and Posies, a matching cake from Sweet and Saucy Shop, and a menu of Allison's favorite breakfast foods for dinner. "Bright primary colors, vintage fabulousness, and hundreds and hundreds of yarn balls made great focal points for the celebration," Allison says. "Not only did Jeni design a celebration that was well-styled — she also made it really me. Her thoughtfulness and personal touches made the day joyful, memorable, and so incredibly special." We're always inspired by baby showers that are both gender neutral and beautiful, and this "Hooray for Baby" shower thrown by Becca Gorski of Cake Events for three of her friends who all happened to be pregnant at the same time (don't you just love that?!) is one of our all-time favorites.

"The 'Hooray for Baby!' theme started oddly enough as the subject of an e-mail I sent wishing them congratulations," Becca says. "The more I thought on it, the more it felt like the perfect concept for a shower. Because two of the moms-to-be opted not to find out what they're having, I picked a gender-neutral palette of mint green and yellow. I've always loved these colors for Spring, and they worked especially well for an outdoor brunch." The combination of the pastel color palette and the exuberant theme makes for a supersweet combo. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas (meaning, it's freezing!) in the Midwest and on the East Coast, so when Cristina Hermelin of Chic Up Your Party sent us photos of this gorgeous baby shower, thrown in the countryside in Portugal, we were not only inspired — we also started planning our next vacation! "Mom-to-be Lara has the most beautiful house set in the north of Portugal, surrounded by orange trees and sweet countryside flowers," Cristina says. "It was a unique setting to celebrate."

Cristina used Lara's vintage china and decor to create a sophisticated tea party, but the real star was the natural surroundings. "Using the countryside colors of sweet orange, green, and pink produced the most beautiful ambience," Cristina says.
