What mama would want to ruin her outfit with an unsightly sling? Linen makers, Serena and Lily, have expanded their foothold on the world of simply chic baby design with the introduction of their Market Sling, a 100 percent organic cotton, hand-embroidered sling.
The carriers feature soft brushed interiors and are one seamless piece of fabric — free of buckles, belts and straps. The Market Sling ($129) will be available beginning in June, but you can pre-order it now on their site.
A book a day wishes ailments away. Even when they are under the weather, kids like to be entertained. So comfort your child with a story that answers some of their questions about a cold or flu they've encountered.
Written by pediatrician, and mom of three, Charlotte Cowen, M.D., the books cover illnesses kids get from ear infections to sore throats and vomiting. A Greek girl carried her twin for nine years. According to an Associated Press article, the young lady had stomach pains and a swollen belly so doctors went in to remove what they thought was a tumor. It turned out to be the child's embryonic twin, which was over two inches long. It said:
Andreas Markou, head of the hospital's pediatric department, said the embryo was a formed fetus with a head, hair, and eyes, but no brain or umbilical cord.
The doctor also said that cases where one twin absorbs the other while in the womb occur in one in 500,000 live births. The parents of the girl who has recovered did not want her identity released to the public.

Blindness. The blush-toned garment complemented the starlet's fair hair and pale eyes so beautifully that it's hard to believe that she delivered a baby four weeks ago. Married to playwright Andrew Upton, the 39-year-old is mum to three sons, Ignatius, Dashiell, 6, and Roman, 3. Kudos to Cate for having it all and putting such a stunning face on motherhood! But weekday mornings at my house are sheer madness. I'm running to work, my daughter's off to preschool and my husband and son are headed to the park.
The first meal of the day is usually a granola bar on the go, yogurt and juice. Sit down meals like pancakes are reserved for the weekends when we have more time. To see what product changed that unwritten rule, read more
