We caught up with Lauren at the Downy pop-up laundromat, where she revealed her new partnership with the fabric softener brand. Lauren's busy with many different endeavors between designing for her clothing line and unveiling her first-ever bedding collection for Kohl's, but we got a chance to chat with her at a press day in the Big Apple yesterday. Lauren told us about her fun upcoming Summer plans, her advice for staying grounded after achieving fame at a young age, and more. Read on for highlights from our sit-down with LC:

• On her fun Summer plans: "We're going to Nantucket for a week in July and you know it's really preppy there. I already had fun shopping for that trip. I have a bunch of dresses that I got, there's a lot of conversational pieces and fun colors."
• On keeping her bedroom cozy with her pups: "Honestly, for me a bedroom is made by the bedding. I like a lot of pillows on the bed; I like it to be really cozy with soft fabrics and not too fussy. My old duvet cover was silk and it was dry clean only. It was a light color and I felt like I was always being really careful on the bed and once one of the pups jumped up, there would be little paw prints. So I kind of like no-fuss, really pretty, really romantic bedding."
• Her advice for staying grounded after achieving fame early on: "I have awesome friends so that really made a difference for me. That is the difference I see with working in the industry and living in LA, it's really surrounding yourself with good people."
• How she stays chic during the hot days of Summer: "In the Summer, I mostly live in a really easy A-line dress; I love just a pleated cotton dress. That is my Summer wardrobe."

Emma Stone took a break from filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to spend a sunny afternoon with her boyfriend Andrew Garfield's family in NYC yesterday. While Emma hung out with her beau's brother, Ben, and his wife and kids, Andrew stepped out solo elsewhere in the city. Although Andrew was absent for the family outing, he and Emma have been spending plenty of time together due to their busy filming schedule for Spider-Man 2. Earlier this week, the pair shared an action-packed day on set, filming a rescue scene on the streets of the Big Apple. The real-life couple also had the chance to get romantic in front of the cameras over the weekend. Emma and Andrew shared a passionate kiss while in graduation gear for the cameras on Saturday.

Kerry Washington dressed up in a white Giambattista Valli dress for the annual Celebrate Sundance Institute Benefit in LA last night. She took the stage to present the Vanguard award to up-and-coming director Ryan Coogler at the event, which celebrates leaders in the independent film world. Also on hand for the evening's festivities were Octavia Spencer and Robert Redford, who is the president of the Sundance Institute.

Kerry jetted back to the West Coast for last night's benefit following a big night out in NYC. She donned a Jason Wu gown to step out for the 2013 CFDA Awards in the Big Apple on Tuesday evening. Kerry, again, had a special role for the fashionable festivities as she presented the womenswear designer of the year award to the designers behind Proenza Schouler.

Summer is just getting started, and already Leonardo DiCaprio has packed plenty of traveling, parties, and premieres into the past few weeks. He kicked things off with the NYC premiere of The Great Gatsby and later traveled to Cannes to party at nightclubs, take a boat trip with rumored new girlfriend Toni Garrn, and hang out with pal Cameron Diaz in Monaco. Once he wrapped up things on the French Riviera, Leo headed to Venice to celebrate the Venice Biennale, a major art exhibition that kicked off last week. Miley Cyrus showed off her figure in a midriff-baring top reading "Dimepiece" for a stop by a music studio in LA yesterday. Another noticeable accessory for the outing was her engagement ring, which she had back on despite recent rumors that she and fiancé Liam Hemsworth called off their wedding.

Miley's back to work at the studio after generating a bit of controversy with the release of her new single, "We Can't Stop," on Monday. In the song, Miley makes references to drugs, which has some worried about the one-time Disney star. The lyrics aren't the only risqué aspect of her new track. Miley shared sexy behind-the-scenes photos from her video shoot for "We Can't Stop" that show her wearing sky-high heels and tight spandex. Models and stars mixed and mingled at various afterparties following the 2013 CFDA Awards at NYC's Lincoln Center last night. Sofia Vergara linked up with Vera Wang at the Four Seasons hotel to celebrate the designer's Lifetime Achievement honor, which she picked up during the award show earlier in the evening. Also in attendance to show their support for Vera were Anna Wintour, Kate Mara, Greta Gerwig, and many of her fellow designers. Many other stars stepped out in the Big Apple last night for the CFDA Awards, which celebrate American designers and their contributions to the fashion world. Kerry Washington, Jessica Chastain, and Tobey Maguire, who was on the arm of his wife and nominee Jennifer Meyer, were just a few to show their support for fashion's biggest names, while Hillary Clinton also made an appearance to present the Founders Award to Oscar de la Renta.

Emma Stone held onto Andrew Garfield, who was fully clad in his Spider-Man suit, for an action-packed night on their Amazing Spider-Man 2 set in NYC yesterday. The couple filmed what appeared to be a rescue scene, and they celebrated the successful shoot with smiles and high fives. It was a full day of filming for Andrew, who also logged time on set during daylight hours.

Brad has been busy promoting the film leading up to its release in the US on June 21, and yesterday he made a surprise appearance at a World War Z screening in London. Angelina stepped out in support of Brad on the heels of a sad occasion since her aunt Debbie Martin passed away after a battle with breast cancer last week. Angelina is still in the midst of preventative measures as she announced that she plans to have her ovaries removed as well due to the BRCA gene, which increases her risk of breast and ovarian cancer.
