Is This Your Idea of an "Absolut" World?

Certainly men have to deal with the occasional crabby pregnant wife and financial stresses of having a baby, but women are the ones who physically deal with the morning sickness and evolving body. Feeling more sympathetic for the females, a whopping 90 percent of you think pregnancy is tougher on the woman than the man. This Absolut Vodka advertisement claiming "In an Absolut world" had me chuckling, but also wondering — if you could, would you pass the pregnancy torch to your partner?

Actually my pregnancy and labor really made my husband respect me more. I think he was impressed that I could throw up and still go to work. And labor? Let's just say he was amazed. I had a really great pregnancy after the sickness, though and wouldn't trade it for the world. Absolut clearly isn't marketing to women who have actually been pregnant and have kids. A white house. Really?

That said, as I'm moving out of my first trimester, I'm beginning to love being pregnant and wouldn't pass the torch to my husband for the world.

no, but only because i would think i needed to do it myself so it was done correctly (control freak i guess). i did not like being pregnant at all. it scared me, made me sick and vulnerable and hormonal. but it was something i choose to do so that i could be a mom.

That picture's really creepy... But I would love to let my boyfriend be pregnant for me. This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me! 40 lb weight gain, waking up every morning in fear of a stretch mark, ew. I'm sure I'll like the baby when it comes out, but right now there is A LOT of resentment. I'm the crabbiest person I know, lol.

Even with this last pregnancy and it's minor ailments I don't think I would trade those 4-5 months of being able to feel him move inside me. That was my special time with him. It might be selfish but I know I would miss that so much. So I think I would keep it traditional.

Nothing about the picture is my absolute world. A white house, an ugly dog, and vodka? Blech. And worst of us, my husband in a cardigan. And I wouldn't give up pregnancy for anything. My last one may have been incredibly difficult for me, but I'd rather go through it and have her. I think my husband would handle pregnancy just fine ~ he's an athlete that trains many hours a week and is used to high levels of pain and discomfort, as well as working through that and illness. But I still want to keep pregnancy.

Nope! I LOVED being pregnant! And, I know when my husband gets sick he is the BIGGEST JERK on the planet! I would NEVER want to have to deal with that for more than a few days!LOL. I don't think he would want to do it anyway!

Even though I was so sick during the first and part of the second trimesters, I loved being pregnant. I would never trade that responsibility to my husband. Also I think men are even more whiny when they get sick and I really wouldn't want to deal with that.
