Would You Take Junior Jetsetting?

The world is getting smaller due to international efforts, technology, and occupations allowing employees mobility. Many moms and dads got a taste for traveling prior to having children so they continue to trek the globe with their tots. It seems like Suri Cruise and the Jolie-Pitt kids are all over the map.

If time and money weren't concerns, would you live the traveling life with your tykes?

Yes, my son has been all around the world. He had his passport before he was a year old. On another note, I highly recommend the cares-harness for those who do. We have always bought him his own seat just so we could have the space but I hate carting around the carseat (we rent one with the car). The cares harness has been a life saver, once he was on the move the harness kept him in his seat.

We take our children traveling all the time. Not overseas yet. But they've seen more than half of the states in our own country, more than many of their peers and more than even some adults. We love exposing them to other states, cities, traditions, foods etc. We think it's very educational. All the states we've been to so far have been driven to so it's alot to see in between as well. this weekend we leave for Hawaii it will be our first family trip that we're not driving to our destination. I'm very excited for this new experience for the 3 youngest who have never flown yet.

Well I didnt go to a ton of exotic places BUT I did go back to my parents homeland for my summer breaks almost every year and I loved it!!!

I think it's important to have a home base, but I would totally take my kids traveling as much as possible if I had the money that the Jolie-Pitts have.

we haven't been able to take the kids to europe yet but we are working on it. hopefully next summer. i think it's wonderful for them to see the world.

I think it's so important for kids to travel while they're young if at all possible. I went all over the US and a tiny jaunt overseas. It's given me a great respect for different cultures and an appreciation of my home state and family.

We took my daughter with us (from the Bay Area, where home is) to Oregon, Las Vegas, Ohio, Michigan, Seattle, Southern California, Lake Tahoe, and Hawaii -- all before she was a year old! These were all trips to visit family, and although we haven't booked quite as many trips in the last year or so, we hope to continue to roam with her and the new baby (on the way).

Hell yes i would take them traveling! The difference between me and the Jolie-Pitts is that they don't have a home they have houses and hotels. I would have one home and in the summer or spring break or winter we can go to Thailand, Australia, South Africa, or wherever!
