Preschool lays the foundation for your tot's future education — from studying the ABCs and 1-2-3s to learning how to write. But it is also supposed to be a place that helps lil ones explore their creativity and make the messes they can't make at home. The founders of the world-famous off-Broadway show Blue Man Group have founded a preschool and kindergarten in NYC that incorporates the founders' ability to use a variety of everyday objects to teach complex lessons. Saying that they care more about how a child learns something than what they learn, the school uses black lights, a padded room with a light-up floor and glow time, just like the shows, to encourage creative thinking. The school costs approximately $27,000 a year and the program has yet to be accredited.
