Would You Name All Your Kids With the Same Letter?

Seems like the Kardashians are keeping with the letter "K." Momager Kris Jenner kept it in the family naming all five of her daughters in the same vein —Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie. And, Sylvester Stallone and his wife, Jennifer Flavin followed suit favoring "s" first names and "Rose" as a middle moniker for their gaggle of girls — Sophia Rose, Sistine Rose, and Scarlet Rose.

Do you find this practice cool or completely nauseating?

both my husband and I have k names and if we have a son he wants to share his name. wouldnt it be weird if everyones name started with a k? or would it be worse to have 3 k's and than the second child's name to start with a different letter? im trying to convince him to like other boy names but he wants a mini me. unfortunately i think im losing that war ):

I named my kids with the same letter only one goes by the m name it is a family tradition to do this everyone in our family does it i see nothing wrong with it but that is my chosing i hope my children keep up the tradition but i would not be upset if they didnt.

All the girls on my mom's side of the family have the middle name Ann Marie or Marie Ann...but thankfully my mom didn't give my sister and I same sounding names (my sister is Christina and I'm Melissa) but there is a cousin on my dad's side who has the same name as me (1st, middle and last) and there are 5 Patricia Katherine's in my family

I have to agree with the minority on this one. I think it's cute - and it's on going in my family at the moment, father, brother, uncle, first child and myself are all R's, and Im thinking of R names for my second child. I think it gets annoying when you have to 'butcher' a perfectly good name to get the initial you want. Yes it might be confusing at the time, but it has a sense of 'togetherness'.

These are the same people who dress the entire family in matching outfits and have the husband and sons wear Crocs. They are diluting the gene pool one unoriginally named baby at a time.

I think people are being a little unfair. My sister and I both have names beginning with the letter "K" and it had nothing to do with alliteration being cutesy. They had two names that they both liked and they decided that they liked my name (since I'm the younger of the two) spelled with a "K" rather than a "C." I'm inclined to agree.I think it's really silly of people to say that my parents should have spelled my name a way they disliked just to avoid my sister and I having the same first (temporarily last) initials, despite the fact that initials have no real significance to us.

We did it, kind of. Not on purpose. My eldest is Justin. When we got pregnant with our second child my boy name started with a M, but the only girl name I liked was Julia. When she was born Julia it was. But I didn't do it so they would match. Now when my youngest was born, I intentionally did NOT want a J name. So we named her Alyssa. She has an A name like me ;)

We are all A's — my mom, my dad, my brother and myself. I think it's kind of cute actually!

I had never even thought of doing that. My parents each had 8 brothers and sisters (my mom had nine but one died in infancy) and they all had completely different names. My husband and I both have J names and we decided right away to not go with J names for our kids. We have three boys, Ryan, Anthony and Dylan.

Nope. Thank God my parents didn't do that to me and my siblings. They have a hard enough time with Abby(older sister), Rich(older brother), and me, Laura. I get called Abby AND Richie half the time. They've been moved out of the house for about six years now.. Hmmm...My Dad usually says, "Ab--or, Laur--, Laura!"Sometimes I feel like I should wear a name tag. :-P

I love having the same initials as my sister. I actually who came up with the idea. (I had this super cute i.d bracelet at the time and I knew I would out grow it and I thought it would be so cool if it became hers) Whats hella funny is that all 3 of my step-sisters names start with the letter B. And the more I think of it my cousin named her 3 kids with A names as well. What can I say its better than everyone being a junior (which we also have a lot of !jesus my family is huge!) Oh and I plan on giving my kids the same initials so does my sister!
