Woman Only Passed Out Candy to Kids Who Support McCain!

A Michigan woman in support of John McCain turned Halloween into more of a trick than a treat for Barack Obama supporters and their tots who went to her door. Using the opportunity to push her political agenda, Shirley Nagel handed out packs of M&M's stapled to McCain/Palin collateral only to those voting for the Republican ticket. She said there were no handouts for Obama supporters, liars, tricksters or kids of supporters. Parents and neighbors were outraged.

What do you think about this woman's use of tots in her tactic?

This is worse than just denying kids candy. I read that she's a school teacher. Middle school english. Some of her former students say she was nuts as a teacher. If you look at the YouTube comments, people are posting her address and phone number.

This woman needs to take a break for election year. Many people do. This country is so divided I don't know how we will recover. For example, Miss Wadewifey bringing up Texas several times out of complete nowhere giving a random statistic with no source.

The saddest thing about this stunt is that this woman is publicly saying that it's okay to hate someone based on their beliefs. Is that what she taught her kids? And to take it a step further, she showed hate to children because of their parents beliefs. In all reality, how rediculous would this woman look at another who denied candy to any child who had brown hair? It's the same concept. Why open your door to anyone at all if you are that bitter of a person.

Why would she put the pamflets with candy she is only giving to McCain supporters? They don't need to be convinced anymore! It would make more sense to give them to Obama supporters if she was trying to get anyone to change their vote. It is stupid to involve children in this anyway.

How would kids of trick or treating age know enough to be a supporter of either canidate? Secondly they can't vote so how is withholding candy going to help get McCain votes, this lady is silly!

How did this get on local news?? Some neighbor called the station to report her and they sent someone to investigate??? At this point in the election they will put any idiot on TV! I agree, I can't wait for this sh*t to be over

This is sooo funny - people are utterly ridiculous! BTW - the follow up to the story is another neighbor with a McCain Palin sign in her yard said that after the kids were turned away (and some did cry after being refused candy in same lovely way that lady said "too bad, everyone has a choice") they came to her house and some were afraid to approach or asked when they got there if she was a mean lady too not giving out candy to Obama supporters and the lady said no and gave everyone some. She managed to teach kids the lesson that McCain supporters are A-holes - not something that is going to help him win an election, but then maybe that is why she aimed the lesson at those who can't vote?

BTW I think this woman needs some serious mental help if she is punishing innocent kids. I pity her and I pity her children (assuming she has any), she will probably teach them to discriminate and hate.
