Why Didn't Anybody Tell Me: Crazy Dreams

One of my expectant friends called me the other day to dish about the racy dream she had the night before.

By the end of the conversation, we were both in tears laughing about her insane and lewd subconscious trip.

It reminded me of the wild escapades that my own prego mind took while I slept.

Since hormones are raging, the surge of progesterone frequently adds to the intensity of pregnant women's dreams.

The recollection of the sleepy escapades may also be due to the repeated bathroom trips, interrupting the REM sleep cycles.

weird, i had dreams about breast feeding kittens too. very weird!

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I'm only 8 weeks pregnant and I dreamt that my boobs were as big as two liter coke bottles and stuck out like them too. My nipples were underneath facing the ground and I was going to have to put my baby underneath to feed him. My husband and I were looking in the mirror and I said I'm gonna have to get a bigger bra. LOL and I've had plenty of racy dreams too, so weird.

ive also dreaded going to sleep cause of my dreams. im 39 wks pregnant and they just started the other day, there intense and so vivid sometimes i wake up crying. whats crazy to me is there all about my boyfriend cheating on me. :/ there different dreams but same concept. they really upset me

HAHAHA these dreams are wild lol. I do have racy and intense, as well as wild and confusing dreams so vivid that I can usually tell my husband about them when I wake up. I thought it was so odd that all of my dreams seemed so real and intense so I decided to look it up on the net, this is what I found lol whew I'm not crazy. 7 months to go!

I had one this morning (during nap time with my son) that was about this hot guy murdering someone I was close with (but could never see who). Only after escaping this crazy hot guy did I get a knife go back, kill his accomplice and stab him. Whatever that did, it didn't kill him but made him nice??? And then we started making out on the chair he was in. I can still see those crazy light blue eyes....I had weird dreams before but nothing beats that or the one where my husband was running on a treadmill with one leg...???? God 7.5 months to go too.....

Yes, I KEPT dreaming I gave birth to a white cat. I've always called my baby 'little cat' since birth now, however weird it sounds to other people.

I kept having dreams that I was breast feeding kittens. I don't even have a cat so I'm not sure what that is all about. Their tiny kitten teeth really freaked me out though ;-)

I had crazy scary dreams about my baby being deformed or stillborn. racy dreams...unfortunately NO! I would have rather had them!

:ROTFL: luckyme ... breastfeeding a dolphin put very weird pictures into my mind! lol I have weird dreams now... I can't imagine what they will be like when I am pregnant!

I constantly had dreams that I was going to drop the baby. I was absolutely paranoid that he would just flop out of my arms. They were awful!

Sometimes I would actually dread going to sleep because the dreams were so intense.

I had some very crazy dreams when I was pregnant. I could usually recall most of them the next morning however they never made any sense whatsoever. I couldn't even explain them to my husband because they were so crazy.

Yes, I am having them now...and I don't like them. I am not one who usually reads into dreams but these have really been freaking me out. They are also in extreme detail.

I had some very crazy dreams! One that vividly sticks out was the one about a dolphin...that I gave birth to. As if that wasn't strange enough, I also breastfed the dolphin, although this was accomplished by some strange metal apparatus that went on my boob. Ah, pregnancy hormones.
