There's a big push when it comes to giving baby the boob. Whether it's an OB/GYN rattling off the benefits of nursing to a pregnant patient or a lactation consultant checking a newborn's latch, there's a vocal (and silent) understanding that breast is best. Mom-to-mom conversations often center on baby's feeding schedule, milk supply, and the ultimate nursing bra. In some circles, a woman may feel pressured to breastfeed. Rather than spark a debate or be stigmatized because she weaned baby (or never nursed at all) out of necessity or choice, she may just go along with the discussions or fib. Did you?
