Both! My hubby and my two little boys! I buy all of them valentine's gifts, valentine's day is about love whether it's motherly love or romantic love. ;)

I agree with Anon#2. I don't mind the Valentines for classmates, but it's a romantic holiday, not merely "love." My kids are not my Valentines, I feel that cheapens the romance and the whole point of the day. Let us have a day that centers on US, not the kids.

i know lots of people are offended by this, but i really, really believe valentine's day is an adult holiday. it is about romantic love, and i HATE that it has become another hallmark holiday where everyone has to be included. there are plenty of days to celebrate other kinds of love (mother's day, birthdays, etc.) why can't valentine's day be for lovers only? that said, of course i sent my daughter to school with valentines for her schoolmates. i'm not about to make her a weirdo just b/c i think it's ridiculous.
