With the toy catalogs piling up on my kitchen table, most of the talk in my home is around new playthings these days. I buy toys, both for my kids and as gifts, from a variety of different places, but started thinking about where people shop. So tell me, where do you buy most of your toys?

So far, it's been all of the above! I tend to at least research online, if not buy, because it's so convenient. And there is a small independent seller near my house I like to visit to give them the business. But I also find myself loving some of the deals at places like Target. It's a mixed bag with me.
Usually Target, but this year KayBee had some great incentives so I got a bunch there. So it'll probably end up about 50/50 "big box" stores and traditional toy stores. And the Disney Store, what does that count as?
I usually buy the high priced items at Target or their site. Otherwise I like to browse around and see what I can find.
Yeah, I think all of the above. Just stumbled across a local toy shop that carries really cute unusual toys.
Then there's also Big Lots and the dollar store for stocking stuffers...
target, disney store and anywhere there is a good sale other then walmart
I can't wait for black friday...last year we went over to toy r us and got everything we wanted without any fighting and saved over $300. Im already doing some shopping.. DealTaker has black friday sales already online.
I do all of the above.
I'm really fortunate where I live to have a reasonably-priced independant toy store. I was just at Target yesterday and it was only about a dollar or two cheaper than our store for the wooden puzzles I was shopping for. I was pleasantly surprised.
All of the above? I buy from a few neat sites online, Toys R Us, Target, and a little independent shop down the road.
