ok im pregnant and to let all you moms out there know yes you can have sushi its just certin fish you cant have so dont try to have someone tell you you can have it cause they say its bad its not true. you basicly can have anthing you want just not large portions of suff thats bad. so get all ya facts right before you tell other people the wronge ideas. you should do research before opening your mouth. so to all the moms that know the right stuff enjoy all that you want to eat and have fun.

You can even eat raw sushi while pregnant, assuming you're at a reputable restaurant. And who'd eat at a non-reputable restaurant, pregnant or not? The sushi advice is outdated and a general overreaction anyway, you're far more likely to have problems with lunchmeat and soft serve yogurt/ice cream.

i'm a pregnant girl who just left a sushi restaurant and it's a myth that you can't eat at one. i ate an avocado roll, a california roll (minus the roe), and a cooked roll. usually, i go for the bento box, which is also fine. i get so sick of all the scare tactics thrown at pregnant women!

i just walked out of a sushi restaurant at lunch only to see a very pregnant lady walking in...my automatic first instinct was to say "you can't eat sushi!" but obviously i kept it to myself! there's lots of stuff in there she could eat!

Women who have any chance of becoming pregnant should already be taking a folic acid supplement. If you start taking it when you find out you are pregnant then there is some risk that the fetus has already developed the birth defects that folic acid helps to prevent.
