Vera Bradley to Brighten Up Tots' Rooms With New Baby Collection
Vera Bradley fans take note: the design house known for its colorful fabrics, unique prints, and quilted cotton luggage is expecting a new arrival March 14 — a baby collection! After 30 years of designing feminine-looking luggage, handbags, accessories, and diaper bags, the company is expanding its line to include a collection for baby girls based on a new book written and illustrated by the designer's daughter called Bunny and Bear. The pink-filled line will be available in two patterns, Lily Bell and Tutti Frutti, and will include everything from a dress and bloomers, blankets, bibs, rattles, pacifier pods, and bottle caddies.
We got a sneak peek at the line yesterday and can honestly say that the loveys, blankets, and clothes are some of the softest we've ever felt, and the packaging — boxes made to look like cardboard changing tables, cribs, and wardrobes — is perfect for gift-giving. And if Vera Bradley in your nursery isn't enough, the company also announced a new collaboration with Tiny Prints for a collection of birth announcements, baby shower invitations, and personalized stationery to coordinate with the new patterns.
