Velveteen Rabbit Baby Shower

The Velveteen Rabbit, the mom-to-be's favorite childhood book, was the shower's inspiration. The book itself acted as a guest book; guests were asked to write a note to the baby on the book's inner cover.

The gender-neutral theme worked well since the parents didn't know their baby's sex. The host used the book's textural elements, including rustic burlap, cotton, velvet, and wood, along with vintage spools of thread and small jars of buttons, to continue the theme.
