Use Garlic Press to Shred Cheese

Maybe my three year old will be an inventor, but for now his genius comes in the form of making messes and teaching my husband and me new ways of doing things in the process. The other day I walked into a living room covered in crumbed cheese. A garlic press full of mushy cheddar was left on the couch. Before I could freak out about the bits of dairy smeared onto the hardwood floor, I was awed by my son's ability to come up with an alternative use for the kitchen contraption.
