Mamas are taking a big bite out of the Twilight pandemonium. When the vampire tales first hit book shelves, it started a cult following. Teens and young adults gobbled them up and, apparently, so have their mothers. Young girls may be sporting the "Team Jacob" shirts or carrying the "Team Edward" water bottles, but they are not to be outshone by their older fans. On The Jay Leno Show, the adorably sweet and handsome Taylor Lautner talks about the deeply passionate moms he meets while out promoting the vampire movies. It seems security may have more concerns about mums than they do with their daughters!

I am 43 and a huge fan of the Twilight series, so much so that my two daughters drove to Forks to see the actual town the book is based on. We had a fabulous time and all of us pumped to see New Moon!

I like the twilight books, the movies.. eh.. we will see how the rest go, but I dont get why we have to put labels on everything. I didn't start reading Harry Potter until after I was an adult, and i LOVED them. I was also able to read them without lapsing into pedophile fantasies about the 11 year old characters... It's even more silly with this because Twilight was first and foremost a BOOK. Just becuase they made it into a movie and cast a couple youngins doesn't mean the moms/adults are automatically salivating over them. Blah. yes, they are psychos out there who are, but the freaks are always on the front page.
