Eco-friendly toys have been an ongoing trend over the past decade, but their cost has made them prohibitive to many. A number of companies at Toy Fair were displaying new, lower-priced versions of their environmentally-friendly toys as a nod to the current economy. Among them was Sprig Toys, the company that created durable bio-composite of recycled wood and reclaimed plastic to create their line of battery-free vehicles. This Fall the company is introducing a non-electronic Adventure Series with dinosaur ($28), scuba ($15) and fishing-themed (28) sets.
