It's fitting that Melissa d'Arabian's first-ever guests on her show are her lovely daughters. When asked what was her favorite part of having her "little women" — as she lovingly refers to them — on set, she said, "They know it so well from TV, but this was such a huge treat to bring them to it and merge my two worlds. Cooking with me, they just couldn't believe it! It was just so special."
Melissa wants to instill in her daughters healthful eating concepts that they can take with them the rest of their lives. "I really think about what kind of relationship they have with food and why you would want to eat spinach. I want them to have a good relationship with the food they don't even like. Doesn't mean I don't want my kids to eat their vegetables, but my focus is, what kind of 18-year-old woman do I want walking out the door to go to college? I want one that understands food can be nourishing and can be really positive and a celebration."
