Giving birth to a baby and becoming a mother is a monumental (or is it momumental?!) event in a women's life that often overshadows her concern with her body; however, the desire to lose the excess pounds is perfectly understandable.
Thirty percent of lilsugar readers say it only took a few months to shed the baby weight, while 22 percent say it took about a year.
The average recommended weight gain during pregnancy is generally somewhere between 25 and 35 pounds, which means many women are faced with losing more weight than they have in their lifetime. Whatever way you do it — breastfeeding, working out, dieting, naturally or meditation and prayers — it can be a frustrating challenge. How did you shed the baby weight?
