Tell Mommy: Do Your Children Look Alike?

My older sister and I don't look a bit alike. Growing up, she looked more like my parents so people assumed I was adopted. And, that line of thinking didn't change much until our younger brother and sister arrived. I was pretty surprised when my children were born looking rather similar — sharing certain facial features, skin tone and hair color. Some siblings look like carbon copies of one another and others are a mix of genetics. Which group do your tots fall into?

My oldest is my husband's clone. He has light brown hair and ice blue eyes. My second son looks like me though, he has light hair and dark brown eyes. He looks just like my baby pics. People never think they're brothers.

I dont have a second child yet, but im REALLY interested on what he/she will look like, as my daughter is my clone! Her hair is slightly darker then mine was at her age, but the facial features are identical. If it werent for picture quality of old images, I could pass us off as the same person.. She even has identical placement of my dimples.

My son, the younger, looks like my daughter did at his age, but he doesn't look so much like she does now. Also he is quite a bit lighter, with dark blonde hair whereas hers is very dark brown. THAT'S caused some stupid comments...(I'm not blonde and neither is my husband but my dad is - I'm guessing that's where it came from.)

That's funny.... Caus my girls look alike (blond, same chin, similar nose) but they're only half sisters. Once, when Hannah was in preschool and I'd took her and the baby out I actually had an older woman ask if he was my "second marriage" baby. He's darker haired, but I still think they favor

My boys couldn't look more different. The older is red headed with blue eyes and the younger has dark brown hair and green eyes. Their facial features are a little different as well. When people ask if they are twins (based solely on the fact that they are the same size despite a 17 month age difference) I think they are crazy!

My girls all look quite a bit alike. My pediatrician always mentions how alike they are and I regularly have people comment on it.To my eyes, however, they are quite different.

my older 2 looked identical until the oldest was about 6. the youngest doesn't look like either of her sister to me, but she looks like her dad and i.

Everyone says we just have a cookie cutter that makes our babies. They're identical, especially as babies.
