Suri Cruise Goes Out in PJs and Slippers, Do Your Kids?

Suri Cruise may be the high heeled mini me of her mama, Katie Holmes, but she also loves her loungewear. The 3-year-old trendy tot has been photographed out and about in past weeks in her pajamas and animal slippers. We're liking the casual side of this cutie and are curious if you take your own kids out in their slippers and PJs — be it for the sake of time or fashion?

Anytime we fly my kid is in pj's. We usually try to get the red eye so he sleeps through! He got really sick last year and insisted on wearing his spider man slippers to the Dr. I didn't fight him on that, but day to day, he's in real shoes and clothes.

@jennibean5: I was in the airport the other morning and just about hurt myself laughing when I saw a family running through, all in their pajamas and tennis shoes. It reminded me of my super disorganized childhood w/ 5 kids, who could never all manage to be ready. We spent a lot of time changing into clothes on the way to school... Having said that, no, I would not let my daughter out in her pajamas (or at least that's my goal), and especially not in her slippers. I'm with skigurl, I just don't think it's appropriate.

I voted no but the one time we had a super early flight (at the airport by 5:30am) they both wore their pj's on the plane. But they had on sneakers.

It's not something I make a habit of. But if we've overslept and little Lizard has to get to daycare and I have to get to work, and allowing her to wear jammies will get her out of the house, jammies it is. She always wears "outside" shoes, though.

tiny babies in strollers, maybe, but this is ridiculous this child should be wearing proper clothes and footwear...she's way too old to be out in pajamas...and that counts for adults too...i hate when people wear pajama pants out to restaurants and to the store...yoga pants or sweats are okay (albeit a little trashy) but flannel is not
