With Kate Middleton due any day now, it's only a matter of time before Prince George's new sibling moves into the royal nursery. And while we probably won't get a peek into the sure-to-be-stunning room for some time, London's Grosvenor House is helping us fill the void in a truly royal way. The hotel, along with Dragons of Walton Street, has transformed one of its Premium Park View Suites into the "Suite Dreams" nursery, a quintessentially British room filled with bespoke, handcrafted, and hand-painted nursery furnishings inspired by the hotel's rich history and idyllic views of Hyde Park.

Dragons of Walton Street is no stranger to royal nurseries. The Mayfair-based shop was the decorator of choice for Prince William's, Prince Harry's, and their cousins Princess Beatrice's and Princess Eugenie's nurseries. While in London for the Cybex by Jeremy Scott launch event, I visited the quaint store and saw its beautiful designs firsthand — including the exclusive license for Beatrix Potter. They're nothing short of exquisite. For this project, Dragons commissioned five different artists to create new artwork for the suite. The total price tag for all the furniture included in the suite would be a whopping $39,640!

Staying in the suite comes at a price, too, as you can imagine. Of the three available packages, the Buckingham package is the most luxurious, featuring a three-night stay starting at $9,561 and including a full baby concierge service — pickup from the airport, an evening of child care, dinner for two at the hotel's steakhouse, a complimentary cut and blow dry at Sanrizz for moms, a shave at Alfred Dunhill for dads, a private consultation with Dragons of Walton Street, a private tour of Buckingham Palace, a personal shopping trip to Harrods, and use of a Balmoral Silver Cross Pram throughout your stay.

Fitted with 1920s-style furnishings in keeping with the hotel's traditional style, the master bedroom includes a sculpted scroll-top crib, a one-of-a-kind chaise longue designed for more comfortable nursing, a state-of-the-art bottle warmer, and Dragon's Floor Standing Lampbase ($368).

The Crib

The crib, Dragon's own Scroll Top Cotbed ($1,984) is hand-painted in one of the store's new patterns designed just for the suite. It took five days to paint! The crib is topped off with a regal coronet (featuring the hotel's monogram) and sheer voile drapes.

The Changing Station

The Changing Station

Between the bedroom and the bathroom, Dragons created a baby changing area complete with the Beatrix Potter-themed Bowfront Changer ($491).

The Play Area

The Play Area

Separate from the bedroom is a play area that incorporates some of London's most famous sights. Dragons' Adam Sofa ($1,583) is perfectly proportioned for tiny tots to relax after a day of sightseeing, while the Iconic London Bus ($110) is reminiscent of what they see while meandering through town.

The Dollhouse

The Dollhouse

Perhaps the most spectacular part of the room is the Dollhouse Book Cupboard ($1,841). The piece, which is painted to look like the hotel it is housed in, took two days to brush-finish and five days to hand-paint, because all the windows had to be the exact same size!
