What Time Does Junior Go To Bed?

Some parents are strict about putting their tots down to bed at exactly the same time every night. Others let their kids decide when it's time for lights out.

Since my babe is still a wee one, her bedtime is 7 o'clock. As she gets older, we'll push it back. But for now, I'm enjoying the few hours of adult time that hubby and I have.

I don't like to get up earlier than 8 and I like to spend time with my 2 year old so her bedtime is 9 but sometimes as late as 11 on weekends. *bad Mommie!* I keep her up later right now so we can sleep in later. But I know I'll have to get over it when she starts pre-school and then "real" school. :)

My little one 2, is in bed about 8:30 and falls asleep about 8:45 or so. My oldest 8 goes to bed at 9. We get up at 6:30. On the weekends I let them stay up a little more late, but they still get up about the same time.

8:30-9:00 unless it's swim season, then 7:30 and they are OUT.

Mine are 5 and 2 and they are usually in bed by 7:30, no later than 8 (except special occasions on the weekend). They fall asleep almost immediately most days and don't wake up until around 7 in the morning.

In bed at 7, up at 6:30 or 7. It took us quite a long time to get her into this schedule. She fought sleep HARD for quite a long time, but we are finally established with this and it is fantastic! I love that my husband and I can have a little time to ourselves in the evening.

My son goes to bed really well between 7:30 and 8, but still won't sleep in past 6 AM on a good day. Argh. But he's also still waking up once or twice to eat.

The little guy I babysit goes to sleep at 8 and his mom told me he wakes up around 6 or 7

My older boys are 2 and 6 and they go to bed at 8:00. My oldest falls asleep immediately but my younger one usually takes an hour or so to fall asleep. He's like me. The baby goes to sleep at 8:30 so I can feed him his last bottle and rock him to sleep without having to worry about the older ones getting to bed. They wake up around 6:45, the baby around 7:30.

My kids are 4 years and 9 months old. We all leave the house for various places (hubby and I to work and the kids to daycare) at 6:45 am and do not get home until 6:30ish pm. My son goes to bed between 8 and 9 pm, my daughter soon after. If I did not "allow" this later bedtime, I would only see my kids for an hour everyday. I just can't do it. I figure the time they spend with me and hubby in the evening is just as important as their sleep. Besides, they get naptime in daycare, too. Just my 2 cents...

My little one is in bed by 7 and asleep by 7:02! She wakes up at 7am like clockwork. She actually chose her bedtime, I was trying to put her down at 8 but the poor thing couldn't keep her eyes open! This time works out great, my husband and I have down time together, something I thought we would say good-bye to when she arrived,

Wow. My 1 & almost 3 year old are in bed by 7 at the latest. They're up at 7am.

I can't put my son to bed at 8pm because he doensn't fall asleep until 10pm. So he's usually up until 9:30pm.

Both of my kids are in bed by 8:00, but sometimes they stay up and look through books and talk to each other. I figure as long as they are in bed, I don't mind. :-P

She's in bed at 8 pm, sleeping by 8:10 and she doesn't wake up until 8:00 the next morning.

Our daughter goes to bed anywhere from 9 to 10 depending on the naps during the day. Her dad is with her in the mornings - so she usually sleeps in until at least 9-10 so she definitely gets like 11 or 12 hours of sleep at night.

I usually put my boys to bed at 7:30, the fall asleep like 10:00 =p

I voted for between 8 and 9 pm even though we have 4 children with different bed times.

My guy used to go to bed late but now he winds down by 8 pm and crashes. I hope it doesn't get any earlier or I'll never get to spend time with him working all day!

I would love for my lil one to go to bed earlier, but in order to ensure that his daddy gets to see him every day, we give him an 8:15 bedtime. This gives dad at least 45 minutes of playtime every day. Once he starts school though, I have a feeling we will have to modify everything!
