Babysugar Diaries: Sharing Ultrasound Pictures

Witnessing the four chambers of a heart fiercely pounding, examining brain and spine development, and watching the tiny feet and hands move about with ease in utero is breathtaking. For lucky parents–to–be, an ultrasound technician will gather a slew of the baby's first photos for the new family to take home.

As technology now allows, many expecting parents choose to share their news by emailing the black-and-white snapshots of their newest addition. As a way to keep family up–to–date, I like to send the pictures along as the pregnancy progresses. Did you also share your ultrasound pictures?

Yes, absolutely. I'd had it a few days before I visited my parents and extended family, so I brought the pictures with me to share.
i always did...but there was no point because no-one ever saw the baby in there!

Nothing compared to the 4D ultrasound dvd we got. It was so fun watch that with family.
Yeah I showed the family and sent a copy to my grandmother who lives in Reno. She still has it on the wall and my daughters 9 months old.

My brother share with us the VIDEO of his wife ultrasound and it was so magical, I could see my future nice or nephew’s legs, arm and his or hers little head, I could see how he or she moved, it was just beautiful, I can wait to meet my nice or nephew I’m so excited, it’s just magical

Yes we email pictures to family and friends. I also try to send a good description of what they are looking at, since it can be hard to see them sometimes.
