Many of us do a little more cooking than usual at this time of the year. Be sure to keep hot pots and pans out of reach from curious lil hands. It's a good idea to get into the habit of using the back burners first and turn the handles of cookware so they are not hanging over the side of the stove. If you really want to be proactive, remove the knobs that turn on the burners when your stove is not in use.
