Sandra Bullock is America's sweetheart and this morning it was announced that she has one of her own! The Oscar winning actress posed for pictures with her adorable adopted son, Louis Bardo Bullock. Prior to Jesse James's philandering ways surfacing, the couple welcomed the baby back in January. Now that the new mom is divorcing her husband, she will raise the child on her own. It's hard not to empathize with Sandra who seemed to be blindsided when news of her husband's infidelity among other things made headlines. But does the devastation of the breakup lessen because she now has her son?

i agree with the anonymous post (that's a first) - i respect Sandra and her decision and i'm so happy for her and think it's amazing that she has baby Louis and will love and care for him solo, but i don't think this is a very reasonable poll being a single mother is hard, and the baby isn't a consolation prize

This is a terrible poll. I have a lot of respect for Sandra Bullock but this survey is bizarre.

I think it depends on the situation. On one hand, she must be ecstatic to be finishing up the adoption process, but she and her soon to be ex hubby were supposed to be the parents. So although it's a good, positive distraction to raise the baby up on her own, it's gotta still sting at times. But if I could say something to her, is CONGRATULATIONS. And she just proves to me that things can be done discreetly in Hollywood when the celebs want to. I read that she's not unwelcome with her soon-to-be ex being a father to the baby (I think she even said she thought him to be a great father), and she's not going to be out of the ex's 3 children, so I think it's awesome that they're doing things amicably and working together despite everything ugly that has transpired.
