By far the cutest cup about to be on the market (the cups hit store shelves later this month), the chick-like Lollacup ($18) has a valve-free, flexible, weighted straw that moves around the base of the cup as tots twist and turn their drinking vessel.
Is it easy for tots to pull water out of it? Yes. The narrow straw released just the right amount of water for my lil one to get a good sip. The weighted straw bottom also made it so he wasn't sucking air as he moved the cup around.
Did it leak? When the cup isn't closed, we found the straw to leak little drops of water. But when the chick's head is closed, the water remained in the cup.
Did it live up to the hype? Aside from being positively adorable – it was the first cup my son reached for when they were all placed before him – the weighted straw, detachable handles (so it fits in a diaper bag or cup holder), and replaceable parts made it a hands-down winner in our testing.
