Relieved or Peeved That Octuplet Mom Is Accepting Help?

While Nadya Suleman's decision to have so many children is controversial, the welfare of her octuplets as well as her six older kids had much of the public worried. The mama of 14 recently announced on the Dr. Phil Show that she will be accepting round-the-clock help from Angels in Waiting, a nonprofit charitable organization. What's your opinion on this?

Both pissed off and relieved, that psycho undeniably needs someone else to put the children first.

Aphrosette I completely AGREE with you! Regardless of your personal feelings about the mother, these babies are here and helpless. If you watched the Doctor Phil show there were many experts there that explained the best situation for the babies was to stay with the mother at this point (and not go into foster chair) .and the only way for that to is through help (financial and physical). I'm done judging her decisions, they were wrong..end of discussion. These children are getting the held they need, so how can anyone be peeved about that?

what im tired of is she is still on the news. she is on celebrity shows like E entertainment. this is the attention she WANTS!!!! i feel like a hypocrite for just writing this. but this just makes me wanna get a petition to get her OFF the air. if she thinks her family is normal, dont give her interviews! i would donate money for those poor babies when they get taken away. not to donate to her it will encourage her. I really believe she is just gonna have another baby. this woman is crazy!

IMO I'm glad that the kids will be taken care of, however I'm peeved at the situation in the first place. There are just so many things that are wrong about it, but its NOT the kids fault and they need to be the focus now, not her

I think she's a little whackadoodle, but it's really all about those kids in my mind. At least they'll be taken care of.

The kids need someone to care for them, with that many kids, one person cannot do it alone. This is why people need to think it through before they do anything to have kids adoption, IVF, or plain ol' sex. If you cannot afford a child for decades and everything that entails from diapers, to insurance payments on your car, to college books...even if you REALLY want a child -- just don't friggen do it. I an also understand people want big families...but I also think most people don't know what it's like to actually give birth to eight kids in one fell swoop -- that is not what most people intend for. Don't let your emotions lead the way, give it a lot of thought before you decide on something that is permanent...your children are your children FOREVER. This women clearly has issues, and is a totally unfit mother. She had 6 children before that she could not take care of. Now she has 14. That is completely irresponsible. She has now created this huge black hole of a life for herself and is sucking her children into it.

is anyone raising money for a hysterectomy for the octomom? i'd donate to that. if no one helped her, those children would be removed by CPS. i'm not sure that's a bad thing either. those little ones need way more than a roof over their heads and extra helping hands. and mom clearly needs an on-staff psychiatrist. this whole thing depresses me.

I am happy for her kids but I personally think her uterus should have been sewn shut years ago. She is not a fit mother and she basically endagered the lives of her children by not being able to properly monitor and care for them.

She may be a horrible selfish women but she needs to think about those poor children and I'm glad she is accepting help.

Part of me is glad this sick monster will have other people there to monitor her around her kids because she is an unfit creature and part of me is upset that she is getting all this help when so many others who dont have national coverage need it.

i'm glad, and i was glad kaiser wouldn't release the babies until they saw that she had a proper place to care for them. actually, i'm a little afraid that once the babies are home she'll tell everybody to beat it and she'll have all the kids by herself with no one to monitor what is happening. this woman had created a situation with HORRIBLE possibilities and i hope none of them come to pass. god forbid she gets the baby blues, what would pull her out? she has no support system. her own mother thinks she's nuts and her dad pities her.

I have mixed feelings. Its good from the perspective that those kids did not ask for this and they need to be well taken care of. But on the otherhand its annoying that she expects people to help her. People help those who help themselves and I don't see her doing anything ti improve her situation.

This lady found an unethical Doctor to implant her with more children than she can afford (monetarily and mentally) on her own as well as the 6 beautiful children she has at home. I think the doctor should be made to help them out medically for the rest of their lives instead of the taxpayers.

My husband and I are waiting until we are fully ready to SUPPORT a child to HAVE one. The irresonsbility here is unbelieveable. I do think she has issues, and the doctor who implanted that many embryos acted unethically. That said, the babies are here now, and for THEIR sake - not hers! - I am glad this group is helping.

I think she has mental issues. If people are willing to step in and help those chldren, I am all for it. I don't care about her, she chose her situation. But those children did not ask to be here.

My only problem with this woman is that she really didn't think this through or she did and really didn't realize the work behind it. I honestly think she's just trying to exploit the whole situation and an easy out. Maybe she didn't think it through and really thought this is a great idea! I'm guess I'm glad that those kids will get the attention they did and deserve, maybe they can talk some sense into her too.
