Yes, we all know there is more to conception than the birds and the bees, but most of us don't stop and think about the science of it. As anyone who has had trouble conceiving knows, it's complicated.

I'm with the others. #3 doesn't sound right. I thought the egg kept traveling and if it wasn't fertilized, implanted in the uterus resulting in menstruation.

Is #3 REALLY true? I've been menstruating since I was 13, but have only been pregnant twice, does that mean that those hundreds of unfertilized eggs have remained in my fallopian tubes waiting for sperm to fertilize them????? Question 3 is worded badly, I agree. It makes it sound like an egg will hang in the tubes indefinately until it's fertilized, which isn't true. Also, two sperm can penetrate one egg. Changes occur to HELP prevent it, but aren't always successful.

I did terribly! 3/7. It's a wonder that I have any kids. Kikidawn--take the test again in 3 days and let us know . My current pregnancy started with a negative test!

I say question 3 is a trick question. It makes it sound like it stays there forever, which it does not.
