Soon your lil one's Sesame Street playsets will actually interact with them, rather than sit dormant on the floor. At the convention, Elmo and Big Bird's home announced a new partnership with Qualcomm to launch the Vuforia™ Augmented Reality platform. With the platform, tots (or their parents) can hold a tablet up to a Sesame Street playset, and the camera will recognize the items in the set and bring them to life on the screen. There are a number of apps already in the pipeline, Apps like Abby's Fairy Rock and Big Bird's Words will be available, and in the future, the duo hopes to bring t-shirts, books, and other items to life.
