Nursing bras have become sexier and more stylish through the years, so why shouldn't the items we place in them be better looking? Visit almost any drug or baby store and you are likely to find a display of boxes of white disposable nursing pads or neutral colored washable ones.

Two moms who were tired of the drab-colored pads that sat in their bras thought it was time to add some life to these breastfeeding necessities. Using their design skills, they updated the absorbent items and launched Posh Pads ($10 per pair), colorful, washable breast pads made from organic cotton flannel and bamboo.

Would you invest in these designer breast pads to stick some style inside your nursing bra?

No thanks. For ten bucks I can buy some eco-friendly fabric and make several pairs for myself.

I have never used these pads personally, but it kind of makes me wish I were going to nurse again! They are adorable and fun. When nursing a baby, never felt adorable, at all, so I think it's a great idea. And, I wouldn't care if they showed through anyway, cuz when you are nursing, it's not exactly easy to keep secret. Good job Posh Pads!

Wow that doesn't look at all like an influx of posters sent over by the manufacturer of the breast pads. It's not like these are the first "earth friendly" breast pads to ever be offered. My oldest is nearly in his teens and we had reusable ones back then. Even ones with lace backing that didn't show through the bra and shirt, so if you really need something lacy to feel pretty, you can do it for a lot less than $10 per pair.

Not seeing any male comments on here so I'll start; watching my wife go through the postpartum ups-and-downs, learning how to breastfeed, not getting any sleep, and feeling "unattractive", these have helped in the sense that she can laugh when she pulls out her " HOOTERS" designed Posh Pads! If it's that simple to make someone's day and allow them to fell sexy then why not? She got a 6 pack and there's such a variety on style and colors. I love seeing her happy!

K, so what I can see is these can make something that can be so tiring and, sometimes undesirable, a fun and joyful event. Let's face it, like the other lady said, no one knows you're wearing them but it would make ME feel pretty! That's the important thing! Now, I think unless you're not wearing a bra at all, how are you going to see the prints? Some are such light prints and oh, what's that? A nude color too? Wow, so we DO have a choice. Thanks ladies for putting out such a wonderful, eco-friendly product! I'll definitely buy some when I start nursing. Your charitable contributions are to be praised as well!

I love my avent disposable nursing pads. They are as soft as fabric on my abused nipples, and I get 100 for $10. I know it's not as earth friendly, but then again, neither is laundry loads constantly to wash the reusable ones. Not to mention the time drain to take care of reusables. Might be nice to have 1 or 2 pairs though it's not something I can justify buying for myself.

It has been almost 30 years ago when I had my daughter, but as I recall, I never felt that "glow" they say pregnant women have, I felt FAT. As a nursing mother, I felt like a jersey cow and nursing pads are essential, why not something pretty? It's okay sometime for it to be all about ME and this gift might have done just that. The fact that they are eco-friendly is icing on the cake and they are reusable. Besides, we need people just like this to keep imagining and making new things. If they are for you, fine, if not, that's your choice. I personally would have gotten my money's worth out of them, thanks Posh Pads!!

I love these! I've not only bought them for my breastfeeding friends, but I own my own sets. Someone mention the problem they had with these was that they use printed fabric. I bought their Mother Nature Collection, which is ALL organic. I think the fabric comes from Harmony Art and some other organic fabric maker, I'd have to go back to their site for the name. So you do have a choice...just my opinion, as I actually use them!

Like the one person said, lacy panties are better than granny panties even if you are the only one that sees them. They just make you feel better. And these do come in plain white if that's what you want. They are certainly softer than the disposable ones. Plus they are eco-friendly. What's not to like???

I think it's great if the company is eco friendly and gives back to the worls, but they should be making at least some that are not printed fabrics! That is more of the problem with them for everyone than anything else. This is why I loved my plain bamboo nursing pads. There are plenty of reusable nursing pads on the market to chose from so you do not have to use one's that are disposable, uncomfortable or feel like a maxi pad.

I recieved these at my baby shower this summer. They not only are pretty, but I think the point really is that they are earth friendly! So much more comfortable then the ones I bought in the box, that made me feel like I was wearing a Maxi pad for my chapped breasts. I believe these 2 moms (company) gives back to help in the prevention of breast cancer too...so KUDOS to them for not only making nursing pads look and feel pretty, but also reuseable! I'd rather wear a lacy thong, then granny panties...even if Im the only that one that knows Im wearing them!!! And these definately have my vote.

With my 3rd, I spent the money on some really good bamboo breast pads. Well worth every penny. Mine were the plain off white of bamboo and I preferred that because they don't show through your bra if you're wearing a light shirt. Definately worth the money for the bamboo though!
