If babies begin forming memories at the 30th week of gestation, should we start educating them that early? BabyPlus ($149), a prenatal curriculum made up of 16 sounds that resemble a mother's heartbeat, is said to encourage cognitive development throughout a pregnancy. According to the manufacturer, the educational tool can be started as early as 18 weeks of pregnancy, when it is placed outside the womb. As the fetus grows, a series of sonic patterns that babies can recognize, evolve to strengthen the lil one's learning ability and provide them with an "intellectual, developmental, creative, and emotional advantage from the time they are born." Would you invest in this product to give your tot an advantage?

A touch ridiculous in my opinion.
1going one step further to say totally ridiculous.
2How about we stop trying to hard to create the Best! Babies! Ever! and just relax! Children who grow up in a loving and attentive home are going to be more than intelligent enough to find their way in the world. We should enjoy pregnancy and let kids be kids instead of constantly trying to find ways to make them smarter or faster or cuter.
3I used the Baby Plus and really liked it. I don't need or want the Best Baby Ever but some of the claims are not about making your baby smarter. For example, they claim that your baby will be a better sleeper - mine has been an excellent sleeper from day 1. Who knows, but I felt it was worth a try.
4i love the idea of all these great things that you can get for your baby even before they are born, but i feel like this is just a bit too extravagant.
