In the minute it takes to watch this clip, a woman will die of a pregnancy-related complication. Model and mother of two, Christy Turlington Burns examines the unnecessary death associated with childbirth in her documentary No Woman, No Cry which recently debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film follows the director to Tanzania, Bangladesh, Guatemala and in the United States examining the conditions in which women become mothers. Though the documentary is currently in limited release, moms who want to make a difference can sign the petition to improve global maternal health.
