Pipsqueaks: Kid Friendly or Are You Kidding?

The first time I saw these wee walkers called Pipsqueaks, I drooled over them. Designed for fashion conscious mothers and children, these shoes are easy on the eyes. The ears, however, may not be so fond of them. A motivational tool for youngsters still prone to crawling, the sound generators can be a fun trick for new walkers as the footwear has built in squeakers. Your tot will literally squack as he walks. Sounds like fun for a few minutes but then I think my nerves would start to unravel. The larger sizes are available without the noise. What's your opinion of these shoes?

My goddaughter and my niece both have them. They and their parents LOVE them. You can pull out the squeaker if it gets annoying and the designs are fabulous!

I work in a daycare and a little girl used to come with them on all the time. If you've ever worked in a daycare, you know you've kinda gotta know where everyone is all the time. So with these shoes, I always knew where Mara was. And as for the squeak, well since it's a daycare, squeaking or any other type of noise like that sort of belongs. It just kinda blends right in.

They're adorable but the squeaking noise would drive me crazy.

I think they would be cute for a while. Then the noise would probably get on my nerves.

One of my friends just got these for her tot. They were ADORABLE! And she never lost "sight" of where her daughter was in the crowded room.

I've bought these shoes ~ different brand ~ the squeaker can be taken out. You're left with darling shoes. These types of shoes are very fashionable and as long as you can remove the "squeaker" you're in good shape.

Roxa, Robeez are great and PediPeds are good too.I thought on these Peep Squeakers the squeak can be disabled. Or am I thinking of another brand? :?

My daughter had a pair before she started walking. I would hold her up and bounce her feet on the floor in order to let her hear the squeaks. She loved the squeaks but it never motivated her to walk on her own. Cute shoes though.

I most DEFINITELY could not handle the squeak... what shoes does everyone recommend for a crawler - couch walker, who's starting to venture into the realm of walking!?

They are cute and good for those who are learning how to walk the squeak will encourage them to keep walking. Once they're walking I'd hate to hear them run, I'll get rid of them ASAP.

My daughter had them, it made it nice when we were in stores and she wanted to walk! I always knew where she was, but man the squeaking got on my nerves, she only got 1 pair!
