Lil Tip: Pipecleaners For a Bubbly Good Time

Bottles of bubble solution come pretty cheap which is great when your wee one tends to lose the accompanying wand often. This weekend, I discovered a better solution than repeatedly buying bottles of the soapy solution — pipe cleaners!

Take a pipe cleaner and bend it into fun shapes like hearts, circles, stars, etc. Then dip it into the magical suds and blow. Your tot will be pleased with his creation and you won't have to keep tabs of plastic wands anymore.

good idea!! My nephews like to play with pipe cleaner people. You take a pipe cleaner and bend in half and then twist it around on it self about 1/3 way down from the bend. Open up that part into a circle and it becomes the head. Bend the very bottom of the legs into feet. Take another pipe cleaner (a different color) and wrap it around the twisted part where the head meets the body. Make sure it is even on both sides and bend the very end of the arms into hands. They are super cute people ... and if you cut the pipe cleaners in half and use the halves you can make a "littler person". I'll post a picture if someone wants to look at what the end project is. :)
