I never really understood the concept of 'Peas in a pod' but when I saw this cute Etsy find "3 peas in a pod", I think I may finally have it. So, the peas fitting snuggly in this leafy green pod represent the children or is this the whole family? If so, I am going to need another pea, I don't want to put anyone out. Now, I am confused again.  

These Peas In A Pod are beautifully handcrafted by Green Man's Shop found on Etsy and based in Israel. They would make a great conversation point for just $26.50. Stuffed with 100% wool, lined with cotton and measuring a huge 11" inches long, these peas in a pod are genuinely a beautiful imaginative toy for children.
