Potty Party: A Stylish Celebration of a Lil One's Big Milestone

Feb 7 2012 - 7:03am

Potty parties might not be standard for most mamas, but after seeing the adorable pastel and chevron celebration created by Creative Juice's [1] Mindy Starr, you might just be inspired to change that.

Starr celebrated her daughter's potty training [2] by throwing a stylish fete, inviting other recent potty users and their "trainers" (aka moms) and creating diaper-themed games, a sweet dessert table, and some clever printables, which are now available for purchase through Etsy [3]. While this party is undoubtedly over the top, Starr credits it as one of the reasons her potty training was a success — and with cupcakes, cookie pops, a cake, and candy potty favors as an incentive, we're not surprised!

Dessert Table

This cute dessert table was decked out with cake, cupcakes, popcorn cones, cookies, and more. The gray chevron print and pink and blue accents are kid chic!

Dessert Table

Yogurt-covered pretzels, powdered sugar donuts, and supercute pink and blue yogurt parfaits (they used Yoplait Go-Gurt, which already came in the right colors) add to the sweetness at this potty party. The snacks were created by Cali Cooking Couple [6], while the cake and cookies came from Traylor Made Treats [7].
