Should Parents Curb Their Crass Clothing?

Some people get a kick out of absurd onesies that tout, "I'm a tits man." Others ditch the crude sayings, but think it's adorable to dress wee ones up in beer endorsing apparel. What about adult apparel? College kids are known to sport quirky tees with frat party banter slapped across the chest. When that man becomes a father, I wonder if he'll still be inclined to sport the "Playa fo' life" or "free breast exam shirt." While a parent can certainly choose to wear whatever they want, it may not be setting the best example for their offspring — especially one capable of reading.

If you are a professional adult, no matter what, you should dress and behave like it. It's not becoming to to wear pants around your knee caps and huge trucker hats when you are a 30 year old financial advisor. It is not the kind of image you want to create for youself. On top of being an adult, if you have a child -- then you are now a walking, talking example. Don't walk around trying to be father of the year if you're going to wear shirts that say something like "F*ck me, I have a baby" or something. It's not cool at all. But honestly, I do think wearing shirts or clothing that proclaims your love of drugs, sex, "gettin' dat papa" or feeling up someone's tits is just tacky in general. Not to mention short skirts with no underwear and tube tops, paired with high heels for a woman. Dress nicely, no matter your age. Be especially conscious of this when you bring another child into this world.

ugh, I saw a mom with a MILF tshirt on (with a very short skirt and high heels, natch), and thought it was tasteless.
