Outdoor Games for Summer Play

Participants are divided into two teams that stand in straight lines about 30 feet apart from each other. The first team calls for a runner from the other team to try to "break" their chain by screaming, "Red Rover, Red Rover, let Maya come over!" If the child breaks the chain, she brings an opposing player back to her line. If she fails to break the chain, she remains with her rival team.
