Tell Mommy: What Comes to Mind?

One of the reasons I love the Bay Area is the eclectic antique market held once a month in Alameda County. Bird cages, guitars, dining tables and china sets are common merchandise, but yesterday one item made me stop dead in my tracks — an OB/GYN examining table. Stunned, I waited to hear what passersby said of the labor worthy furniture. Here are a few notable quotes I overheard:

You could take the padding off and replace it with a granite counter-top and make it a kitchen island!
I'd strap my husband down to that!
I didn't know they sold torture devices at the antique market.

What would you say if you saw this at your local flea market?

LOVE it! I could pop the crotch part down and place a bowl in there, secured, naturally, by the stirrups. Then, I could slice vegies and meats on a cutting board on the angled backrest, where they would tumble automatically into the crotch/stirrup bowl. It would save me the task of scraping the cutting board. I'm all about shortcuts. ;)

Oh man, with so many not fun times on one of those I didn't even think of the kinky aspect. Even after two kids I hate going to the gyno, I don't know if I would want to play around on it ;-)
