The Look: Mobiles traditionally involve animals or other cutesy motifs. In Morgan Satterfield's Animal Print Shop Nursery Project room, however, a not-specifically-for-baby tissue-tassel garland hangs above the crib. It's still shiny and fun to gaze up at, but the look is unexpected and chic.

The Lesson: Sure, we love furniture and decor that's made especially for our kids — but for a more sophisticated, adult aesthetic, keep in mind that every element needn't be "made for baby."
