Known for mixing the old with the new, the Novogratzes don't believe in making a child's room too "theme-y". "We did one for an episode this season. They had a two-bedroom and they wanted a baby's room and a guest room kind of thing. You take the crib out, you take the changing table out, and you'd never know there's a baby in there. It's transitional," he explains. "Transitional's a word we use a lot, so when a baby moves from a toddler, to a child, to a tween, you don't have to change every three years. Change is fun sometimes, but you're not going to do it all the time. You won't know the difference between a 3- and an 8-year-old's room."
