Accidents don't have to happen. If you've got a tot that waits until the last minute to let you know that they have to go, My Pee Pee Bottle ($10) might keep them from having to make the mad dash.

Created by a mother who wanted to limit her daughter's public restroom use after the two-year-old contracted Rotavirus, a virus that affects the bowels, the bottle can be toted in a diaper bag or kept in the car for road trips.

This is nothing special. I am female, and used to pee in a jar on road trips, at the drive inn, etc, etc. Girls can pee in a wide mouth jar, and in a cup, if they have to.

Just another stay at home mom who things she's going to make money off of a stupid idea. Guess what? Funnel + plastic water bottle = the same thing for 2 bucks, and keep it in your car instead of your purse. Or of course as others have suggested, just use a regular naglene sports bottle and use a piece of masking tape with the words "pee pee" written on it. This is just a personalized bottle. Also I'd like to point out that you get rotavirus from oral contact with feces, ie not washing your hands, not toilet seats. Meaning the inventors daughter caught it from not washing her hands, not necissarily from using a dirty restroom. Even if it was from a dirty restroom and she uses this bottle now, what's stopping princess from touching another child who doesn't wash their hands or a railing or other kid's toys? Nothing. This bottle protects against NOTHING.

I wrote the above comment about the possibility of accidentally drinking uranation from the bottle above...I have another concern that I failed to address earlier: What if the user forgot to douche out the "My Pee Pee Bottle" the evening after last use and then went to use it days or even weeks later? They might unscrew the cap, and then exclaim "PEE YOU!!!" {pun not intended} "WHAT'S THAT HORRIBLE SMELL?!?" I'm sure that most of us have whizzed into something other than a toliet bowl or a wall-mounted porcelain uranator at least one time...if the "My Pee Pee Bottle" were designed to look like something other than a Nalgene sports bottle, it might be more widely accepted as a urine receptacle. What's next? The "My Poo Poo Cup" with built-in bungwipe dispenser? ;-)

The "My Pee Pee Bottle" looks an awful lot like a Nalgene sports bottle; I could just see the labelling wearing off, and some poor boob subsequently taking a big-ass slug of warm piddle on a hot summer's day. :-/

i think its a good idea for guys or little girls to pee in the ppe pee bottle is a good invention way to go and to those who dont like it they are to scared to try it they are weak people trying to make others use the rest rooms so they get viruses no thank u keep it up mums all mums should carry pee pee bottles so there daughters are safe look at it this way they arent looked at by security on cameras cause believe it or not there is cameras in all public toilets girls and women would be alot safer using the bottle i use a bottle all the time and feel comofrtable doin so im a guy

ditto, Beeps: my mom kept an empty Cool Whip container in the car at all times, so that in case of traffic emergencies, we were OK. I do remember using it, and on occasion, it would get suctioned to my tiny baby butt! I think it's a reasonable solution to a real problem, but I don't understand the need for a specially devoted bottle to be carried in a purse or diaper bag. I'd have no qualms about having my kid go in the bushes, in a spare bottle, or in a less-than-clean bathroom. That's what Purell and Kleenex are for. Problem solved.

What a silly product! I mean, even if your kid really does have to go when there is no bathroom around (which, understandably, is bound to happen), can't the kid just pee in any nearby cup or bottle?

at first i thought the same thing as all of you but have any of you actually used it? By your comments i can see you haven't. Girls can use this with no problem, the mouth of the bottle is wide enough. My niece has this bottle and loves it. When we go to the park or the mall she insists on using it. It's not gross or smelly at all. It really does come in handy.

That's totally silly. Washing your hands often is the best way to prevent viruses, not avoiding public places and peeing in a bottle. Oy.

Check out MY new invention... it's called the DISPOSABLE Wee Wee bottle. It may look like a disposable cup, but alas many years of engineering and testing went into this ergonomic design.I think I'd rather my kids squat roadside in a real emergency or use a public restroom when necessary than teach them that THIS was a realistic option. Ick

I can barely squat on the side of the road and I'm 27. How the heck is a kid supposed to not pee all over the car. This is gross. Suck it up, get some hand sanitizer, and use the rest stop.

This isn't some brilliant invention... I've already seen a product like this, meant for road trips... and the bottle had an attachment for women.

I am a full grown female adult and I don't think I could aim correctly so I highly doubt a little girl could. I think it is a bit tacky though and I would never want my child to use it.

Geekita, the tinkle tube is interesting. I know guys pee in bottles all the time when they have no other out...I wonder though if my boy would then get fixated on putting his "lil soldier" in all kinds of tubation...well, he is a boy; theres no escaping the fixation.

Seriously - maybe for a boy - but for a girl - this would be next to impossible to use!And I agree - just looks liek a water bottle with a different label. Just silly!
