Well, I'm definitely going to remember to take my birth control today.I remember being embarassed all of the time and I know now my parents just loved me and were parenting me rather than trying to be my buddy. So sad.

I hate these anynomous comments. Yes, teenagers are ungrateful brats! That's what make puberty so much fun for parents! ;) I don't really remember being embarassed by my mom, though. She was actually kinda cool...

Ha! So great. The best part is that I don't think this ever totally goes away -- I just recently watched my dad become completely embarrassed when my grandma pulled out some of his elementary school artwork. Too funny.

I loved these, especially the Irish dancing troupe. That must have been fun!I also used to be embarrassed by the "I love you" notes my mom put in my lunch bag too, but find myself putting those same types of notes in my children's lunches. They, too, I suspect will look back on this with fondness some day like I do now.

There's just something about anonymity that brings out the nasty side of people. I thought these were hysterical, it's funny to think of how much your perspective changes as you become an adult. I know that now I'm embarassed that I was embarassed by these sorts of things!

To be honest, most of these make you sound like an ungrateful brat. Love notes and a kiss goodbye? God forbid! You were loved! The ones that blow me away are the ones about being embarrassed by your mom's braces and pants. Your friends called her "Braceface"?? Your friends were jerks. Maybe she should be most ashamed that her daughter was so superficial.
