Mom Tries to Poison Baby Via Feeding Tube

In unthinkable crimes, a Tennessee mother has been charged with trying to poison her infant son while he was hospitalized. The four-month-old was being treated for high levels of sodium in his body at a Pennsylvania hospital, and his condition worsened once 21-year-old Amber Brewington visited. Police found a container of salt and a syringe in the woman's backpack. The baby's father was not involved.

Man I so sick and tired of hearing about parents who abandoned, kill or try to kill their infants. I have heard about 3 stories already this week and sadly one of the infants died. Nowadays birth control is free, doctors still give abortions and in California you can drop your baby off at the hospital no questions asked. What is the wold coming to, proof again that not all people should be parents. This just makes me really angry...I hope they lock her a** up mental ward , prison or whatever.

This story is so sad. How could anyone do this to another person let alone an infant who looks to you for love and comfort. I am so sad for the family involved, a four month old is something everyone should be celebrating. This woman deserves prison time and psychiatric help.
