Mom Runs Over Son While Playing

Most parents take their kids to the park for a good time, but fun to one Texas mother meant joyriding with her son on the hood of her car. As neighbors looked on, the 27-year-old mama backed her car down the street with her 10-year-old and a friend outside the windshield of the vehicle. When she hit the breaks, the kids flew off and she rolled over her child who was injured by the impact. The driver was arrested and charged with injury to a child. Her son suffered head trauma and is now in stable condition.

ohmy gosh... I just don't understand people sometimes. one day after school I saw the parent of one of the boys allow the child to stand up in their suv on the way home with his head out the sunroof (he's a kindergartener by the way)... I also don't understand people who drive their children (or anyone for that matter) in the back of a pickup truck.Also the other day there was a minivan in front of me at the stop light and the child in the car was not strapped in - I could see him or her playing in the backseat, walking around etc. and the really ironic part? Her licence plate was one of the specialty plates on it that gives money to charities, and it said "protect Nevada's children". No, I just don't understand some people.

Yeah, my mom was 27 when I was 10 but she didn't do anything like that. I don't think her youth had anything to do with her not being very smart.

I have to confess, my uncle, who is much younger than my mom, used to do this to me and my sister when we were little. She is very young and obviously very immature.

that's the stupidest "game" I've ever heard of... she should be charged with some kind of child endangerment, and that other kid's parents should sue! I'd be livid if I found out my kid's friend's mom thought this was appropriate!!!!!
