Meet Mimivail: Timeless Dresses That Empower Girls Across the Globe
The combination of Mimivail's admirable mission of inspiring, empowering, and celebrating little girls and the exquisite, timeless quality of the line's dresses make it a new brand that we're seriously excited to share with you. Founded by Vail Weymann Vasisht, a former Wall Street exec, each of Mimivail's collections is centered on the stories of five fictional little girls (with very distinct personalities!) from around the world.
"My inspiration came from an adoring grandmother whose natural beauty and impeccable style were timeless; a loving mother who had an instinctive flair for dressing me and my sisters in smart, enduring styles; and my own longing to help memorialize the most special time in a child's life," Vasisht says.
In the spirit of celebrating all little girls, Mimivail has partnered with the Uganda-based organizations of Light Gives Heat and SUUBI, which offer hope and empowerment to women and children in the war-torn nation. Each dress comes with a colorful, beaded bracelet handcrafted by the women of SUUBI, meant to be worn by your little girl as a symbol of hope.
