Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves Have Baby Girl Vida McConaughey

Vida is the new vida for proud parents Camila Alves and her main squeeze Matthew McConaughey. Not one to shy away from the spotlight, daddy Matt reported the exciting news on his personal website. He said:

Happy New Year everybody!!!! On Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 12:13 a.m., Camila gave birth to a healthy 7 lb., 7 oz. baby girl named Vida Alves McConaughey... "Vida" is Portuguese for "life" and that's what God gave us this morning. Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks. Just keep livin'.

We hope the family is recovering and resting well and that lil Levi is getting ready to show his new baby sister the ropes! Congratulations to the growing crew.
