Do You Want Your Kids to Attend Your Alma Mater?

This year's March Madness has been extra mad, and this weekend brings us to the final four. Watching the series with your family is a ripe time for reminiscing your college years and experiences at your alma mater. Do you hope your children will attend your school of choice, or are you completely open to whatever colors they decide to don?

i don't have kids yet, but i'd love for them to be badgers like i was (and like their aunt, grandparents, great-grandparents...)

babysugar, my husband and I are Michigan grads, too! Go Blue! And yes, both kids wear U of M gear pretty often and my son likes to try to sing the fight song. We would love them to follow in our footsteps to Ann Arbor, but as long as they are happy, that's all that really matters. But still...Michigan would be nice! :)

Doesn't really matter to me. Maybe because my husband and I have only been to community college. So if they want to start out there too, that'd be cool. Since it's a lot cheaper!

While hubs and I would love for our little girl to be a Bruin someday, it's not anything we're going to push on her. But we'll dress her in little jerseys and cheerleader outfits in her first couple of years for our own entertainment :)

Yes, because my husband works at our alma mater (Univ of Maryland).... and our kids will go FOR FREE !

I'll admit that while I won't be upset if they decide to go elsewhere, my husband and I would both love it if they ended up at our alma mater – Michigan. And yes, they already have the gear piling up in their rooms!

haha.. my 6 years of education was over 180 K... if they can find out how to pay for it then great! lol
